Jaber Alsaria

Mixed Media Painting - Modern - Abstract - Figuratives

Mr. Al Saria’s art is a fascinating trip into fantasy and surrealist tales, poetic women and Modigliani’s type of heads or Wassily Kandisky blues and reds into his abstract expressionistic backgrounds, and a unique palette and sometimes poetic language of Japanese art and calligraphy. Light is one of the qualities of his paintings. No matter what he does the canvas is illuminated with a synergy that invests us to smile and enjoy, to forget reality and listen to the music of Al Saria’s color.

Born in Baghdad, Jaber Al Saria in 1999 graduated with honors from the Baghdad University. He then decided to open his own gallery and work as a part time teacher at Baghdad University. But soon after the Iraq war began, Mr. Al Saria decided to move to Amman, Jordan, where his creative vision, profound dedication and art passion was welcomed by the Jordanian community.
Jaber Al Saria’s immense success came out from his individual shows and group exhibitions with 25 shows between Baghdad and Jordan, Amman. One of the most important was “The Human Rights Exhibit” with the International Red Cross.

Things became unstable and he decided to follow the call of destiny: Al Saria moved to the U.S.A. in April, 2009. Inspired by his new home, success was immediate. Mr. Al Saria’s hard work led him to produce a magnificent new body of fresh and poetic works.
