The mixed-media coastal artworks by Laguna Beach artist Dasha Guilliam are somewhere in the middle, at times capturing just the essence of sea and sand in an abstract design, while others are more natural depictions. She captures more than just a literal depiction of beach and waves. She captures its essence and energy, often incorporating actual elements of nature like sand, branches and rocks.
