New seascape paintings by Alfredo Gomez
We just had a visit by artist Alfredo Gomez and he left us with a few new seascape oil paintings to add to our collection. These are all painted on gallery wrap, 1.5 inch deep canvases and he continues the painting on the sides, so they are ready to hang without a frame. Alfredo Gomez paints scenes all along the California coast, but especially loves to paint our beautiful Laguna Beach. People often think his paintings are photographs, and they are indeed realistic. But they are 100% hand painted originals, and when you get up close you can see the brush strokes. In fact, I find his paintings to be even better than photographs.
