Contemporary Coastal Mixed-Media Artworks By California Artist Jennifer Verge

We are very excited to have received a new collection of artworks by gallery artist Jennifer Verge.

Living and working in Venice Beach, CA, mixed-media artist Jennifer Verge draws inspiration from her local environment: the southern California beach scene and culture.

"Tacos x 3" 32x24 inch photography on assemblage of reclaimed wood and found objects

Verge incorporates her beach inspired photography with an assemblage of found objects and reclaimed wood.

"Twilight" 36x24 inch photography on reclaimed wood and found objects

Her photography is beautiful on its own, but combined with the other artistic elements, it is transformed into a unique objet d'art.

"Take Me Away" 24x21 inch, photography on assemblage of reclaimed wood and found objects

These pieces capture the allure of the California dream: surf, sunset, palm trees, etc.

"Sunset Kissed" 14x18 inch photography on assemblage of reclaimed wood and found objects

They have a wabi-sabi quality to them. Wabi-sabi is a Japanese aesthetic style that finds beauty in objects that are imperfect, worn through time, use and weathering.

"Palms Trees Surf" 32x54 inch assemblage of found objects, reclaimed wood and corrugated metal, and photography

The art of Jennifer Verge is a great find for art collectors who love the California vibe or desire unique art for a coastal home.

"Salt Water Magic" 29x22 inch photography on assemblage of reclaimed wood and found objects
